Silverdale Baseball Umpires
Silverdale Youth Baseball has a different approach for umpires depending on the division. Here are the details:
- Tee Ball - Coaches/Parents Umpire
- Rookie - Coaches/Parents Umpire
- Minors - Volunteer Umpires (Receive Account & Concessions Credit)
- Majors - Volunteer Umpires (Receive Account & Concessions Credit)
- Juniors - Paid Umpires (Professional Organization)
- Seniors - Paid Umpires (Professional Organization)
Having volunteer umpires reduces registration fees for every athlete in Minors & Majors and offers an opportunity for further account credit for each game a volunteer umpire calls. We are always seeking new umpires so please join us!
Steps for becoming a Volunteer Umpire for Silverdale Minors & Majors Divisions:
- Send email to [email protected] and let us know you are interested!
- Register as Umpire in Sportsconnect to start background check process (Login is in upper right of this website) and follow these directions:
> Click Volunteer in the left pane
> Click +Volunteer at the bottom of the main screen
> Click Show All Available Options at the bottom right of main screen
> Click Minors or Majors Division and then View Selected Opportunities
> Click Umpire and then select your profile to continue
> Answer questions and you should be all set!
> Once background check is completed you will get an approval letter from our secretary
- Review Resource & Training links above, take annual umpire training offered by Silverdale Baseball
- Sign up in Stack Officials for scheduling, and pick trainee assignment(s) as needed
